Quick rundown: It’s thick, real thick! The rather abrupt increase in girth is definitely something that needs to be worked towards. Getting passed to widest part feels like quite the achievement.
I feel like I got into this toy not understanding exactly how thick it was, but I eventually made it work out. Despite being labelled a medium, this short lil’ dude is quite wide and definitely doesn’t feel medium. At the time, I wanted a toy that was fairly wide and not as long; since most wider toys tend to be extra-long, it makes them a bit difficult to handle, hence my choice here. I certainly got what I asked for, and it turns out to have been a great pick.

The best way I can describe the halfling medium is that it’s pretty much the final boss for intermediate users who have gotten used to their bigger toys. At a bit over three inches in diameter, it is grand challenge and it takes a good bit of work to be able to get it in. Quite a bit of work! Plenty of lube and slow easing is necessary, as it takes me around 15 minutes to get anywhere with this toy, even after other toys beforehand.

Texture-wise, there is not a ton to go over, the toy is quite smooth and the only bumps to deal with are at the ridge on the head and just below the head.

I can recommend that if you are considering this a buy, and have not gone up this large before, soft may be the better way to go. I tend to prefer my toys on the medium-hard side of firmness, but the thickness on this toy makes it feel fairly hard, all on its lonesome. If I had a redo, I may have gone with soft firmness, but I still managed to make the medium firmness work out. If you go with hard firmness, you are a brave soul for attempting such a feat.

I could offer a critique here that this toy being described as medium may be a bit deceiving. However, with only two size options, it is hard to say where this can be changed unless more sizes are offered at a later date. The raw measurements are the most obvious evidence of this toy’s size, but describing it as a medium size lured me into something that I did not realize was so thick. Even still, I enjoy making use of this toy often enough to not chip away the stars from my rating.
