While I can personally attest to the Hippocampus’ awesome sensations in the XL size, even a medium proved too much for a beginning user, and a softer firmness would have been more suitable. This isn’t an issue with the toy itself, but a personal user preference that turned out to not mix so well when accompanied with the fact she is a novice to dildos, let alone toys like these that are atypical and feature plenty of nuanced shapes. Despite the small Hippocampus being her absolute favorite for the lumps and bumps and its contour, this toy was somewhat of the opposite, where the size made the standout-textures and shape more uncomfortable. Beginners to vaginal use with these sorts of highly-detailed toys ought to pay attention to how intricately detailed these toys can be, as those features can cause some discomfort as they get larger. She got used to the toy after a bit more use and found it more fun, but still struggles a bit when introducing it, even after multiple uses prior.
